I would like to send a special "Thank You" to everyone who took care of, comforted, went the extra mile, and helped my Mom. She was truly happy living at The Villages. Everyone had a great part in making her last days here on Earth happy. I want to also Thank You all for welcoming me and comforting me too! It meant so much to feel the love.
My mom has been living here for six years. We have found the staff wonderful and caring. She has found a community of friends. People love her. I am very grateful for The Villages. My mom is 98 and has been my best friend for 58 years. I want the best for her. I will take loving care over a fancy chandelier anyday.

Pictured left, Ferguson Convalescent Home was founded in 1953. Originally a 28 bed building, the passing decades saw Ferguson's go through many changes, until it became the 87 bed facility it is today.
In the summer of 2017, brothers, Dr. Michael Davis and Dr. Tom P. Davis, purchased Ferguson's Convalescent Home and renamed it The Villages of Lapeer. The Villages has already undergone the initial phases of the extensive renovations planned for the future.
We encourage members of the community to stop in for a tour of our facility and a briefing on renovation plans.
